Things I'd like to say about Zelgadis...
Zelgadis!! (Who the hell is he!!?) Well, some might already know that name which is one of the "the slayers" anime character. It's not the first time doing an action/character profile video, actually it's the second time (first was on Vash the stampded) and people did liked The Stampede video. I tried my best on this video and had one dam obstacle!!
I thought at first I had enough footage for the project and it seems that Zelgadis wasn't a main character in "The slayers" anime!?!? DUH But I have to admit that I like his way of talk and act, even his costume and hair looks gre8 "something you don't see in any anime". He's a unique character or at least to me. I didn't like "the slayers" that much but with out Zelgadis I wouldn't even continue the whole series!!
The video...
The video is no more or less than action and lip sync. I tried to sync the music as much as possible and that was very hard on this video for some reason, timing... timing and timing... O_O took much time to fix it. Well... at the end watching the video for like 3 times I'd say the timing is really ok and am kind of satisfied with the result. The quality of the video as all my videos I don't make a huge MPG sized file to have a good video quality!! cause I believe that MPG is not the best in quality no matter how much you give bitrate to it!! I like other format like Divx or Xvid, and if your asking why MPG then? The answer is... simply MPG can be played in any PC on the world!! Not like DivX which needs the codec + fast enough PC. I don't really see a huge difference when encoding to 1500 kbits/sec instead of 2000 kbits/sec "however some goes to 3000 kbits/sec which is a huge file sized!!"

This video can mostly be summed up as me learning to avoid subtitles, sometimes with interesting results, sometimes with interesting flaws that I didn't notice until afterwards. I still like parts of this video, and I learned lots of useful stuff from editing it. Anyways, here's the old news: Oh ho, lo and behold. I have through many hours work removed the subtitles and made this video much much cooler. People will actually sit through the whole thing without wandering off half the time! WOOOO, time to post! The thanks goes out to the guys (ok, just one guy) who emailed me about this vid. With these OVERWHELMING inquiries how could I not remake this video?! Ah, I'm just kidding, what kind of twisted psycho does music videos for fame and popularity? Before you ponder that question too much, here's something about the actual video...
This video is about Rezo's transformation in the first series; first to Shabranigdo then to Zannafar. Oh yeah, SPOILER ALERT. One idea I'm kind of kicking around is that Shab-Rezo wants to become a whole person, but he gets taken over by a monster ("wanna be wanna be wanna be..PRETTY"). Then Copy-Rezo wants to out-do his original so he actually becomes the monster himself. Anyways, I've never seen a serious or even just a darker action video to Slayers, so that alone was fun to do with this and my other Slayers video.

This was another quick AMV for me, and it was a ton of fun to make. I actually got this idea after watching Adam Sandler's Anger Management, because the song is featured in it. Then I took my favorite episode of Slayers, paired them together and this is the outcome. Enjoy!

My first amv, I used Premiere 5.0 with video captured from a DVD source. Took about a few days of actual editing with lots of planning before. Quality's a bit worse than I'd have hoped, but the video overall is decent for a my first attempt.
