Once more we give you a very
special update... today's Guest Star is mythical too! We are talking about
Final Fantasy... who doesn't know it ? We couldn't tell you all
about it but we think we however did something good! ^__^ Dragon Ball
Arena thanks Piccolo88, Supreme Vegita and Majin

Final Fantasy...
the RPG saga by SquareSoft that has left a deep mark in the video
games history! The story, the graphic, the sound track and whatever concerns
Final Fantasy, has shocked every fan and this is why I'm here, now, to
write these words... I'm one of them...
Many are the chapters composing Final Fantasy, but here I will just write
a short outline of those from 7 to 10 that are illustred in this special...
in the music videos of this special!!!
is an outline for each one of the Final Fantasy chapter treated in this
special... in the music videos of this special!!!
Let's start with Final Fantasy 7, the first chapter of the saga
having a 3D graphic, happeared on PlayStation. The story tells about Cloud
Strife, a former soldier of Shin Ra, now become a mercenary;
it's a boy with a huge sword and a not very clear past, who joins with
the rebel group Avalanche, that enrolls Barret, the boss,
and Tifa, a childhood friend of Cloud. Their aim is to destroy
the Mako plants of Shin Ra, that exploit the planet resources for
their nasty ends.
The groups is joint also by Aeris, a girl apparentely normal, but
who hides great abilities, Red XIII, a strange animal with a tail
of fire and with an intelligence higher than human's, Cid, a pilot
who dreams to reach the Universe borders, Caith Sith, a kitty who
loves game of chance and rides a huge Moguri, Yuffie, a ninja thief
of materia and Vincent, who also has an obscure past with Shin
Ra. Their common enemy is Sephiroth, one of Shin Ra generals, who
tries to improved his power by the Mako plants. In my opinion this is
the best chapter of the whole Final Fantasy saga and the story, very involving,
has a not perfect but very pleasant graphic!
At the end of '98 is released Final Fantasy 8 having a very fine
grapich. The story tells about Squall, a cadet of a military school
named Seed, that is charged to carry out missions by foreign customers.
Duiring the first offcial mission, the protagonist meets Rinoa,
a girl who wants to set her town, Timber, fell under the control of the
empire of Galbadia, free. The girl will fall in love with Squall,
but our hero will not be able to understand her feelings for a long time....
The other characters are: Quistis, Squall's intructor, who cannot
keep her feeling for her student hide; Zell, a kind of kick boxer;
Irvine, a clever shooter from Garden of Galbadia; Selphie,
the childly dispatch-ride; last but not least, Seifer, Squall's
main opponent ... since the beginning of the game we can see them training
together... giving each other a good thrashing with the gunblade
(a very powerful weapon). The chapter had a great succes, although the
critics of the more passionate fans (actually I find FF8 very nice and
interesting!).
In 2001 is the time of Final Fantasy 9, that returns to the deformed
style, distinctive of FF7 but abandoned by FF8. The story tells about
Gidan, an outlawer of the Tantarus force, who will kidnapp
the beautiful princess Garnet the day of her birthday party...
and he will also take the commander of the Steiner kingdom army
and the small blak wizard Vivi. Keep on playing, it will be shown
that the queen of Alexandria is secretely plotting something...
and Gidan will discover that the queen is helped by a strange individual
named Kuja, whose only will is conquer and destruction.
The group will be joint also by Freija, a dragon hunter who's looking
for her lost love, the young Eiko, who will fall in love with Gidan,
Queena... who thinks only to eat, and the lonely Amarant.
All this in the last chapter of Final Fantasy for PlayStation!

But the story continues on PlayStation 2 with Final Fantasy 10.
In FF10 the story tells about Yuna, a summoner who has great powers
that come from the energy of water. The dangerous enemy is named Sin,
a supernatural being who can turn human beings into demons and Yuna is
the only one in the world who can return them to their primitive status.
Yuna is followed by Kimhari, Wakke and Lulu, who
protect her since her parents' death. Tidus, who is the main character,
is a blitzball player and will follow Yuna in order to protect her. With
Yuna there are also Rikku, who is not seriously considered by the
others as Yuna's protector 'cause of her young age, and Auron.
The last appointment with Final Fantasy will be with FF11 very soon. The
only sure informations about it are that they're working on it already
in Japan!
On SquareSoft web site is already online a small demo! No much is known
about the story, while we already know that, besides being playable online,
this game will allow to widely customize the characters by choosing their
clothes and the items for the group.
Soon we will know something more about this last work by SquareSoft but
for now everything is top secret!!!

Danny
Tanda dannytanda@hotmail.com
Wow! One of my favorite song combined with one of my favorite theme!
I couldn't ask for anything better! Well... let's start with the
assumption that, even if it's said that the animated scenes of Final
Fantasy VII totally last 120 minutes, it's also true that at least
1/4 is composed by scenes of intemezzo. So, don't expect to see transitions
over transitions, since the modest (not much actually) choice of
scenes! Above all considering the theme that Danny Tanda wanted
to choose for this work! Oh yeah... because after many videos full
of action, finally one that prefers the emotive side. The song by
itself is very involgving and Danny knew how to perfectly match
the clips to the soft tone of the song. Really a very well done
job, even if we actually could ask something more to a so good creator
as he is! It would be great to see a remake... ^__-

Supreme Vegita squall@ffsoul.cjb.net
Here is Vegita's first music video about Final Fantasy, and the
song he chose is "Mindfields" by Prodigy! The music video
shows many "cult" scenes of FF8, as the fight between
Squall and Seifer in the starting clips or the attack at Lunatic
Pandora by Lagunarock. Somewhere the timing is quite well done,
as in the scene when the soldiers of Gabaldia rush into the Garden
of Balamb, or when the transmission tower of Dollet is activated
and Squall stares attonish. But if you want to download a music
video by Vegita my advice is to take the following one, that in
my opinion is nicer and has a better timing. ^^

Supreme Vegita squall@ffsoul.cjb.net
This is the music video I was talking above, the one that has as
soundtrack "Leave you far Behind" by Lunatic Calm, song
that is part of Matrix OST (as the other by the way ^_^). Vegita
manages to keep always a fast and firm timing, the images follow
one another beating every beat of the song, alternating clips from
FF7 and FF8. The music video is very good, although it repeats itself
quite too much. Very nice the end, when the scenes (at this point
they're actually screen shot) run one after the other very fast
and you see Rinoa on the back, and the eyes of Artemisia and all
the others' that follows one another. The quality is excellent,
with clips taken directly from the game cd. ^_- Just one note: the
mv contains many scenes of Final Fantasy and, who hasn't finished
the two chapters 7 and 8 yet, may have the final surprise ruined;
so, if you're still at the beginning of the game it's better for
you not to watch the mv for now... may just download it and save
it for later! ^__-

Super Gotenks danycosta@inwind.it
Not bad at all this music video by Super Gotenks, especially the
song choice, that I believe it perfectly suits the FF10 atmosphere.
The music video doesn't have a main theme, but it cointains scenes
that pretty much can tell the story of FF10. Very nice the part
where Auron finds himself to have to save Tidus from Sin's attack;
also the beginning is not bad, when Yuna's dance starts and the
camera rises high and an helicopter is heard, and it seems to be
an aerial... but maybe it's only my impression! ^_^
