All the Dragon Ball Arena's friends are used now to our suprises, we hope
pleasant that, besides offering many beautiful music videos, they give
to them (and also to us ^_^) the possibility of knowing the anime world
beyond Dragon Ball, that will however remain the main theme of Dragon
Ball Arena! So today and for the next days, till the next guest star,
we are very happy to host an anime/manga surely dedicated to a more adult
public for its violence. This doesn't mean that also the youngers, if
"spiritually" prepared to what it's waiting for them, may appreciate
the whole work!
Maybe you've already figured out we are talking about Berserk, that will
be "told" by our friend Chibi
Goku who also wrote the reviews of the five music videos offered
by five different authors, who have the main due to emotionally involve
you and take you in the dark but fascinating atmosphere of...

Here we are,
talking about one of the anime most famous and more used for music video,
that are the protagonists of our feature on Dragon Ball Arena. But let
us come to the point and let's introduce this masterpiece with a few words
about the story of this anime/manga.
Berserk, born from the pencil of Kentaro Miura, is settled in the Medioeval
Age and tells the adventures of Gatsu (Gatz), a great swordman.
All begins with apparition of the protagonist, Gatsu, already deprived
of an arm and an eye. From here it's started a long flashback that tells
the way Gatsu, grown up by the mercenary Gambino, becomes a mercenary
himself.
Then we can revive his adventures when, after he killed his step-father,
begins to wandering over the Midlands, till he mets the Falcons Army led
by Grifis (Griffith). It will be just thanks to his hands that Gatsu will
know the taste of the defeat.
Gatsu will then decide to join the armada, that enrolls also a woman named
Caska, who at first seems to hate him (while then... ^_^).
The story continues with Gatsu's deeds while he's still enrolled in the
Falcons Army and his following leaving.
The anime, composed of 25 episodes, finishes with the eclipse that ended
the very long flashback. But this is not the true conclusion of the story!
Maybe in the future we will see a decent end, for now we can just hope
for it and maybe read the manga that doesn't stop here! ^_^
One of the characteristcs of Berserk is the accuracy in the historical
reproduction; this includes also in violent scene and plenty of blood,
so if you hate cruel scenes or you're affected... well, you've been warned
^_^
The music videos we are offering you will give you a clear idea of what
we've just said, so in many cases (actually all!) we had to notify about
the violence of some scenes.
Anyway, have a good vision and a good listening and... if someone really
doesn't want to see any blood, there is Paolo "Bandit" Gatelli's
music video, that it's really for everyone's eyes!

no words, practically without defects, by a mv creator that I consider

We must say this music video leaves a sign also for the excellent
video quality, with clips taken from DVD . But it's not just this
that makes this mv exceptional: another merit is the choice of the
song! Infact the song by Marilyn Manson is able to express in a
wonderful way the atmosphere and the sensations one feels while
watching Berserk.
But what really makes the difference is the awesome timing throughout
the whole music video, great variety of clips and editing that follows
meticulously the course of the song, every single beat, every word
is exploited to the utmost. Anyway let's stop vain words and download
it 'cause it's worth.

And from a violent music video let's pass to a sweet and romantic
one; infact this umpteenth masterpiece of Paolo Gatelli is centered
on the sentimental aspect of Berserk, and precisely on the relationship
between Gatsu and Caska. The video begins with some scenes from
episode #14 and then it focuses on episode #21, when the two characters
can finally express their wishes freely. ^_^ The music video is
very well done, with a good timing and an exellent use of transitions.
It's really a relaxing music video and I never get tired to watch
it and listen to it (also thanks to Cyndi Lauper's song), try and
see! ^_^
The video quality is quite good, even if the starting clips are
a little bit snapping. Wonderful the intro, adequate to the music
video level.

And let's return to a violent music video by the now famous Akira.
This video must to be considered a huge spoiler so who hasn't seen
the final episodes may have some unpleasant surprise.
The music video, in fact, is centered on the final events of the
Berserk's anime, from Grifis's enfranchisement to the eclipse, one
of the most violent moment of the entire anime, so do not get too
much affected 'cause you'll a lot of blood running! ^_^ Anyway,
the video is well done and the song reflects very well the theme,
creating a complete involving during the view.
The video quality is quite enough, even if sometimes there are the
english subtitles; anyway it's worth to download it and watch it
^_^

Conceptually this music video is much similar to Akira's one: also
this one is centered on the eclipse but there are also some short
films from previous episodes.The video is mainly focused on Gatsu,
on his feelings, his pains, on the "death bodies" around
him. The music video, of valuable making, has an exellent timing
and the song may seemed strange but, as the author himself says,the
choice hasn't been completely serious! ^__^ Result: you won't get
bored!
It is anyway a very good music video of Berserk and it's worth to
be downloaded... just one more warning: there are very violent scenes!

Also this music video is based on the actions and on the scenes
of the eclipse, but not for this turns out equal to the others:
infact the author centers his music video on the relationship Caska/Gatsu/Grifis.
The beginning is very peaceful, it shows some scenes with Caska
with a quite good lip synch; but it's in the second half that the
video literally explodes! The song rhythm gets pressing and expresses
at its best the wonderful uneven struggle of Gatsu, who in the end
is constrict to powerlessness. What makes this mv different from
the others is the pathos of this last part, that I keep on watching
without getting tired! And the great merit of Xharas is to have
matching the right music to each scene. The music video is pretty
heavy to download and the quality is good even if not excellent;
anyway my true advice is to download it.
