From December 2002 to April 2004 a new release of Dragon Ball manga was published. Instead of the original 42 volumes "Tankôbon", the new edition is composed by 34 "Kanzenban" (Perfect Edition) and each new volume has a red coloured cover that has newly been drawn by the Master Toriyama, with different images on the front and the back and titled Dragonball written as one word. Even the ending is new and full coloured... (but only the last four pages!!! ^__-)
The new release was enriched by special tributes given by many popular Japanese mangakas who drew some DB characters as they see them through their eyes, with their own style...
