Dragon Ball was born in the far-off year of 1984 as a comic strip in Weekly Shonen Jump #51. But look at how much stuff came out from that simple strip... The manga volumes, TV series, videogames, calendars, cards, movies, GT series and every type of gadget! Dragon Ball Arena always tried to give you more info about Akira Toriyama's work! So a special section dedicated to "DB guides" could not be missing: they will reveal all Dragon Ball mysteries starting from those little pearls of wisdom, the Daizenshuu, until reaching the two recent Dragonball LANDMARK and Dragonball FOREVER, published by Shueisha Inc. to celebrate the new Japanese DB release. This latest version of the manga, Dragonball Perfect Edition, is composed by 34 volumes (Kanzenban), with new red covers and a new four-page, full-color ending drawn by Akira Toriyama himself!

Daizenshuu No.10
TV Animation Part 3
(Supplemental Volume)

Published in Japan in August 18, 1996 by Shueisha Inc., Tokyo.

Paperback: 121 pages.

Contents: this volume resumes Dragon Ball story at the point it was interrupted in Daizenshuu No.5. But before the index there is an amazing poster-bonus (you can see below a smaller version of it) showing Goku SSJ3 standing ahead the 4 main villains of the whole Dragon Ball series: Piccolo Daimao, Cell, Freeza and Majin Buu. Then we find the section DRAGON BALL Z SUPER BATTLE SCENES that covers the last of the Dragon Ball Z TV Animation, starting from Vegetto vs Super Buu till the 23rd Tenkaichi-Budokai where Goku leaves to train with Uub for a few years. After that, here is a great two-page "Epilogue" picture (we show you this one too! ^__-) with Goku who gives us a nod and "Thank You & Bye Bye Dragon World...!!" The book goes on with the ANIMATION GALLERY Part 1 and Part 2 containing a few kick ass images from DB, DBZ, movies and specials. Between these two galleries, there is a whole section dedicated to Dragon Ball The movie PERFECT NOTE, that is the "memorial" distributed in 1996 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Dragon Ball TV series (the comic serial was born in November 1984 and the manga was published in September 1985). Then we find the ORIGINAL BATTLE COLLECTION where are listed, inside 119 boxes, the battles of all DB series, movies and specials. The following section is dedicated to these voice actors in this order: Masako Nozawa (Goku, Gohan, Goten, Bardock and Tulece), Hiromi Tsuru (Bulma, Bra and Pan), Toru Furuya (Yamcha), Mayumi Tanaka (Kuririn and Yajirobe), Suzuoki Hirotaka (Tenshinhan), Toshio Furukawa (Piccolo) and last but not least ^__- Ryu Horikawa (Vegeta). The book also contains the LIBRARY OF ADVENTURE with the drawings of the characters appearing during Dragon Ball The Movie and the ones from the last of DBZ. The final pages collect the ALL STORY DIGEST composed by 23 images with a brief summary of the events happened in the final part of the series: the first is # 269 showing Vegetto fighting Buu, the last is #291 showing Goku and Uub hailing the end of Dragon Ball.
