LINX THE DESTROYER

Notes
In order to understand you must have read previous Dragon Ball DF stories.

Vegeta, Gemini, and Saraneth are resting from their long day of training, and are getting ready to rest. Gemini: "There haven't been any villains threatening the Earth in a while. I sort of like these peaceful times." Saraneth: "Don't jinx it Gemini, there could be trouble coming right now." Although Saraneth was just saying it could happen, she was completely right. As they were both still talking, Vegeta said, "Quiet you two! Can you feel that energy?" Gemini: "Uhh... no I can't feel it." Saraneth: "Neither can I." Gemini: "What direction is it coming from?" Vegeta pointed to the north in the sky. Gemini: "Ok... now I can feel it. Their energy signal is strong, very strong." Saraneth: "Do you think you can handle it Gemini?" Gemini: "If the energy level doesn't get a little higher I will be able to. (To Vegeta) Father, when do you think this new presence will be arriving?" Vegeta: "Tomorrow in the evening, that's if he doesn't pick up speed. Gemini, transport us to Kakorot's house immediately." Gemini: "Ok." Gemini used the instant transmission to Goku's house. As they arrived, they saw Goku, Gohan, and Goten starring into the northern part of the sky. Vegeta: "So you have sensed it as well Kakorot?" Goku: "Of course! How could you miss it?" Gemini: "I think this is the right time to go to the Hyperbolic Time Chamber." Goku: "Well... I guess you're right, let's hurry and go so we will stand a good chance." They then teleported to Dende's look out to use the chamber. Goku: "Hey Dende! We need to use the Chamber; a powerful being is headed towards Earth." Dende: "Yes, I know. I have sensed the presence coming for the past few hours. You must hurry into the chamber; you have a little over a day in the chamber."
Goku: "Ok, who goes first?" Dende: "Who goes first?!? Are you crazy? You will all go at the same time. This presence is strong and you all must use the day that you have!" Goku: "Ok... I guess your right. Ok you guys let's get to work!" They all (Goku, Vegeta, Saraneth, Trunks, Gohan, Goten, and Troten) entered the chamber. Gemini: "Ok, no one enter the chamber 1 mile into the east, me and Saraneth will be training there." Goku: "Fine, Vegeta do you want me to help you train?" Vegeta: "Fine Kakorot, it will give me a chance to see your new power." Goku: "Yeah, but it won't do you any good. Gohan, Goten, Trunks, and Troten, train in the area to the North and West. Vegeta and I will take the south." The others: "Fine by us!" Goku: "Ok, we will all meet up back here in 15 hours." Gemini: "We won't be, we will sleep out there, and come back only when we need to eat." Goku: "Ok Gemini, if you're sure." They all flew off to their areas and began to train. Gemini: "Let's just skip the warm up and go straight to the training." Saraneth: "Ok!" They both powered up to SSJ6. Saraneth rushed Gemini and they began their training. Everyone was doing their best to train, and no one was trying to give the other a break.
It had almost been 12 months in the hyperbolic time chamber, and no one had seen Gemini or Saraneth since the day they entered the chamber. Goku: "Where are Gemini and Saraneth? Our time in here is almost up! Has anyone seen them?" The others: "No, we haven't seen them." Just then, Gemini and Saraneth appeared in front of them. Both were exhausted from their training, and could barely stand. Goku: "You two look like a mess! You must've taken your training to the limits." Gemini: "You got that right!" Saraneth: "Can we go now? I'd like to get Dende to heal us or something." Goku: "Ok, let's go!" They all left the Chamber stronger then they ever were before. As they left the inside of the temple, they were greeted my Dende. Gohan: "So, has the person landed yet or are they almost here?" Dende: "They'll be landing in ten minutes." Goku: "Ok... let me check. (A minute or two passes) Ok everyone follow me I know exactly where he'll be landing." Goku and the others flew off to the area where the presence would be landing. As they landed, they saw the space shuttle coming into view. Goku: "Everyone take it to SSJ2." Everyone then did as Goku said. As the ship landed, the door opened. Two figures walked out of the ship, both extremely powerful, but one had a major upper hand. Goku stepped forward and said, "Who are you, and why have you come to Earth?" The weaker one said, "My name is Linux, and he is my older brother Linx. We travel the universe looking for the strongest warriors; after we find them we destroy them." Goku: "Well... I'm sorry to disappoint you, but you won't be killing everyone here! My name is Goku, and these are my friends. I won't allow you to destroy anyone here!" Linux: "We'll see about that." Goku powered up to SSJ6, and Linux powered up to his strongest form. The both disappeared into the air and started their epic battle. Goku and Linux matched punch for punch. Linux: "I've never meat someone as powerful as you, but you won't last for long!" They began to fight again, and Goku started to get the upper hand. Goku: "Enough of this!" Goku flew back from Linux and gathered to small energy balls in his hand. He then put both energy balls together behind his back and said, "x10 KA-ME-HA-ME-HAAAAA!" Goku's Kamehameha wave raced to the ground and hit Linux head on. Slowly, Linux's body began to come apart until there was nothing left." Goku flew back to the ground and said, "Ok, now it me and you Linx!" Linx: "Ha! Unlike my brother, I am not a weakling!" Linx powered up and he was far more powerful than Linx and Goku. He rushed at Goku and knocked him through a lot of mountains. Goku: "Woah... I wasn't expecting that." Linx then appeared right in front of Goku and put an energy ball up to Goku's face. Goku just stared at it and couldn't say anything. Linx released the energy ball, and it dragged Goku across the ground and exploded. It made a huge crater, and in that crater was Goku. Goku slowly began to get up, and said, "Ok... you caught me off guard there, but I won't be so easily tricked now!" Goku charged at Linx at full force and threw a lot of KI blasts. Linx brushed all of them away with his hand. Goku disappeared and reappeared behind Linx. When he went for a kick to the head Linx blocked it and slammed Goku into the ground. Linx: "You're a pathetic fighter. I cannot believe my brother lost to such an inferior power as yours." With that, Linx disappeared and reappeared next to Goku and kicked him into the air. Linx slapped Goku around like a rag doll through the air. Linx: "Time to end this!" Linx powered up a huge and powerful energy ball and threw it at Goku. Goku tried to dodge it, but it was too late. The energy ball dragged Goku to the ground and buried him in a crater. After a few seconds it exploded. Gohan: "NO FATHER!!!!" Goten: "YOU'LL PAY FOR THIS LINX!!!!" Trunks: "Goten common, it's fusion time!" Trunks and Goten fused to make SSJ5 Gotenks. Gotenks: "I'll make you sorry for ever hurting my dad!" Gotenks charged at Linx at lightning speed and gave it all he had. Gotenks suddenly stopped and realized he hadn't landed a single punch. Gotenks: "THAT'S IT! Super Kamikaze Attack!!!" 15 ghosts appeared out of Gotenks' mouth, and attacked Linx. Since Linx had never seen the attack he charged the ghosts and of course they all exploded on him. After the smoke settled, Linx stood there unharmed. Linx: "You'll have to do much better than that to defeat me!" Linx then charged Gotenks and slammed him hard into the ground. As soon as Gotenks hit the ground, he split back into Trunks and Goten.
Vegeta: "Gemini, stay here we have to save you for last." Gemini: "Father I don't want him to kill you like he did Goku." Vegeta: "I don't think that Kakorot is dead, and even if I die, I will die with honor." Vegeta then powered up to SSJ6 and was getting ready to charge Linx. Gohan: "Vegeta, I will go with you. We might stand a better chance that way." Gohan powered up to SSJ5, and both Vegeta and Gohan charged Linx. Troten: "Wait up father!" Troten powered up to SSJ3 and followed closely behind. All of them gave it their best and did ok, but in the end, Linx was just too much for them to handle. Linx slammed each of them into the ground, and they were immediately knocked out. Saraneth: "Gemini... don't try and help me. I will weaken him as much as I possibly can, but then it will be all up to you. Good luck." Saraneth powered up to SSJ6 and charged Linx. In the beginning, Saraneth was matching punch for punch, but after a few minutes Linx started to get the upper hand. Saraneth thought that Gemini might not need to fight if she could win so she made a huge energy ball that took up most of her energy and threw it at Linx. The energy ball blew up as soon as it hit Linx, and as the dirt settled, they saw Linx standing there without a scratch. Linx: "Ha! I will show you what true power is." Linx suddenly raised his power level even more and slammed Saraneth into a nearby mountain. As she was still flying through the air, Linx appeared behind her and kicked her into the ground. Gemini: "No Sara!!!" Gemini flew to Saraneth to check if she was ok. When he reached her, she was knocked out, but still breathing. Gemini stood up and said, "You'll pay for ever harming my friends, I won't let you leave this planet alive!" Linx: "Oh really? Well we'll see about that!" Gemini powered up to SSJ6 and said, "I was the one who was meant to destroy you!" Gemini and Linx disappeared into the air and began their legendary fight. Both matched punch for punch, kick for kick.
As Gemini and Linx fight, Gemini begins to notice Linx is getting stronger with every punch thrown. All of the sudden, Linx flies back and powers up to a level far beyond Gemini's. Gemini keeps on fighting, but Linx's new found power is too much for him to handle. Linx: "You're a worth opponent, but it's time to end this... now!" Linx disappeared and reappeared behind Gemini, knocking him into the ground. Linx begins to yell and starts throwing rapid KI blasts at Gemini. He continues his rapid KI blasts for a couple of minutes. Linx begins to fly down to the ground, and has no doubt in his mind that Gemini is dead, but all of the sudden, Gemini begins to get up from the crater he's in. As Gemini gets up, he realizes that he has been hurt very badly; it is hard for him just to get up. Linx: "You have more guts in you than I thought, but you are just delaying the inevitable." Gemini: "Ha! I will win this match... somehow, someway I will destroy you!" Gemini begins to charge up to SSJ6 and charges Linx for another attempt.
Linx and Gemini fight in the air as electricity surrounds their bodies. As they are fighting, Saraneth begins to regain consciousness and looks up at Gemini and Linx in the air. Saraneth: "How could Gemini keep this up? Linx is so much stronger than him, he should be down by now, but somehow he's holding on. I can't just stand here watching... I must do something!" As Linx and Gemini are fighting, Gemini flies back and yells, "KAME HAME HAA!!!" Gemini's Kamehameha wave hit head on, but before Gemini could take a single breath to rest, Linx flew through the cloud of smoke and knocked Gemini into the ground making him go back to regular form. Saraneth slowly walked toward the crater that Gemini was lying in. She saw that Gemini was still alive, but he was beaten badly. Saraneth slowly and painfully went into the crater to see if Gemini was ok. As she walked towards him, he slowly got up and looked straight into her eyes. Gemini: "You have to get out of here... he's too strong; I won't last much longer." Saraneth: "I can't leave you to fight him alone... he will destroy you!" Gemini: "Yea... I know. I have already accepted that." Saraneth: "Don't think like that! There has to be some other way. It can't end like this!" Gemini: "I don't know of any other way... wait a sec... grab onto my arm before he sees us." Saraneth: "Why?" Just then, Linx appeared in front of them floating over the crater. Linx: "So what do we have here?" Before Linx could say anything else, Gemini said, "Sara close your eyes... SOLAR FLARE!!!" Gemini grabbed Saraneth's hand and teleported her to Dende's lookout. Gemini: "Dende you have to help her in any way possible. I have to go back to continue my fight with Linx or he will destroy everyone." Gemini then teleported back to the battle field to fight Linx again.
Saraneth: "GEMINI NO!!! YOU NEED HELP!!!" Dende: "Don't worry Saraneth... Gemini can take care of himself. What we need to worry about is how to help you. Ok... the obvious of course. (Dende heals Saraneth) Ok... your part Neptunian right?" Saraneth: "Yea... that's right." Dende: "Ok then... Mr. Popo... would you come over here... I have a question." Mr. Popo: "Yes Dende?" Dende and Mr. Popo whisper to each other and discuss what is going on and how to fix it. Dende turned back to Saraneth and said, "Ok Saraneth... Mr. Popo said that all Neptunians have a hidden power that almost no one ever uncovers. I think that I might be able to help you uncover it... but even if I do, it won't be enough to destroy Linx. We are also running out of time so I'm gonna try to uncover your power for about 10 minutes because that's all Gemini will be able to last at this rate." Saraneth: "Ok... I understand." As Dende and Saraneth sit down to begin their meditation, Gemini was having a tough time on the battle field. Linx slammed Gemini into the ground and blasted him through a mountain. As Gemini kept flying through the air, Linx appeared and slammed him into the ground. Gemini was lying motionless for a while and said, "I have to hold on... just a little bit longer. Saraneth will come soon, and hopefully Dende would have helped her somehow." Gemini powered up to SSJ6, but he couldn't keep up the intense power and was forced back to SSJ2. Gemini: "I'm almost done for... but I won't give up... not yet!" Gemini bolted into the air and gave it all he had. Linx appeared in front of Gemini and put an energy ball up to Goku's stomach and flew back. The energy ball dragged Gemini into the ground and exploded. Gemini slowly began to fly into the air and couldn't even power up to SSJ anymore. Gemini: "This is the end. If he attacks with another KI blast like that... I'm done for." Gemini stared at Linx as he began to charge him for one last attack, but all of the sudden Saraneth appeared and kicked Linx into a nearby mountain. Saraneth grabbed Gemini as he started to float down to the ground and held him up.
As Saraneth was thinking on what she could possibly do, Linx began to get up and out of the mountain. Saraneth had an idea; she started to cram almost all of her energy into a single energy ball, and gave it to Gemini. Gemini began to feel his strength coming back to him, and stared at Saraneth slowly beginning to fall down to the Earth. Gemini didn't understand why Saraneth was falling and said, "Saraneth what's-" but he suddenly stopped as he saw the beam crash into a mountain that had shot through Saraneth's chest. Saraneth fell to the Earth and made another crater as her body impacted the Earth.
Gemini stared at Saraneth's motionless body as it lied on the ground. He then raced towards the ground to try and help Saraneth to live. When he reached her side, he just stared in horror as he saw her dying. Her life signal was fading fast, so he gave her some of his energy to help her live longer. He picked up Saraneth and teleported her and himself to Dende's lookout and told Dende to heal her. As Gemini placed Saraneth in front of Dende, he turned back and looked down at the Earth. Gemini said, "I won't forgive you for this Linx. I will destroy you even if it costs me my life!" Gemini then teleported back to the ground to begin their next battle. As Gemini appeared in front of Linx, he didn't give him anytime at all to react. Gemini powered up to SSJ6 and charged at Linx. In the beginning of the battle, Gemini had the upper hand, but Linx slowly began to fight back.
All of the sudden, Linx disappeared and reappeared behind Linx and slammed him into the ground. Gemini slowly began to get up, but as he looked up, he saw Linx racing to the ground. Linx planted his foot in Gemini's back almost breaking it in half. Gemini yelled out in a wail of pain and spit up blood. Gemini was motionless for a while, and Linx didn't want to wait for him to get up so he decided to finish him off. Linx powered up a huge energy ball powerful enough to destroy the earth 30 times over. As Linx was about to send it at Gemini, Vegeta appeared and kicked Linx in the face. Linx let the energy ball go and it flew into space. Vegeta: "I won't allow anyone to kill my son as long as I am still alive!" All of the sudden all of the others (except for Goku) had woken up and were in SSJ2 form. Gemini began to wake up and saw all of the others falling to the ground as they were fighting for their lives. Gemini: "This might actually be it... the end of us all. NO! I can't think like that! I won't allow anyone to die today. I must defeat him... failure is not an option, I must succeed." Gemini began to rise from the crater, and he saw Vegeta crash into the ground in front of him. Vegeta looked up a Gemini and said, "Gemini... do not allow him to let the Saiyan race fall... not again!" Gemini: "I won't father... I promise." Gemini looked up at Linx and teleported in front of him. Gemini: "I won't allow you to harm anyone else." Gemini began to power up and yelled, "I WILL NOT ALLOW THE SAIYAN RACE TO FALL AGAIN!!! I WILL NOT BE DEFEATED HERE... NOT TODAY!!!" Gemini, now in SSJ6 form, looked at Linx straight in the eyes and charged at him.
Gemini's rage gave him a power boost making him a little stronger, but it wasn't enough to match Linx's power. Gemini gave it all he had and it still wasn't enough. All of the sudden, Saraneth appeared and said, "Gemini... you truly are amazing. I've never met anyone like you... you fight to become stronger, but at the same time, you fight for your friends and family. You truly are the greatest Saiyan who ever lived." Saraneth began to power up another energy ball and made it to where only Gemini could absorb the energy ball. When Gemini felt the energy come to him, he knew who had given it to him. Although Saraneth gave him a lot of energy, Gemini was still a little weaker than Linx. Linx decided to stop suppressing his power and unleashed the rest of his hidden power. Linx began to pound Gemini in the face and gut. Linx slammed Gemini towards the ground, but Gemini stopped himself before he hit. Gemini stood on the ground and looked up at Linx. Saraneth appeared beside Gemini and said, "Gemini... get out of here. I will distract him while you get away." Gemini: "No way... the energy you gave me cut your power level in half. You won't last 2 seconds!" Saraneth: "That's enough for you to teleport somewhere else. You can't stop me! Good luck Gemini!" As Saraneth was about to fly off, Gemini knocked her out so she wouldn't die. Gemini: "I'm sorry Saraneth... but you will understand this one day." All of the sudden, Gemini heard a voice say, "Your not giving up yet are you?" Gemini turned and saw Goku. Gemini: "Goku! You're alive!" Goku: "Of course I'm alive. I wouldn't let him destroy me so easily." Gemini: "Ha! I guess not." Goku: "Here Gemini you could use this. (Goku transfers his remaining energy except a little of it) Don't let me down Gemini." Goku fell to the ground since he had given Gemini most of his energy. Gemini looked up and saw Linx, Gemini could tell Linx was mad but he didn't care. Gemini knew what he had to do with his new power, and he disappeared and reappeared in front of Linx to begin their last battle.
Linx: "You're beginning to make me very angry!" Gemini: "It doesn't matter how much you try... I will always come back!" Linx (out of control now): AHHH!!! WHY DON'T YOU DIE!?!" Linx charged at Gemini, but Gemini's mind was now clear and he dodged every punch. Gemini and Linx were now at the same level of power. With every punch Linx and Gemini threw, the Earth shook. Neither one would give up; both Linx and Gemini were of course fighting to the end. With every KI blast, punch, and kick their energy signals faded fast. Gemini: "It's time to finish this." Gemini began to power up and all of the sudden, and energy ball appeared above him. The energy ball increased in size and power along with Gemini's power level. Gemini stopped powering up and put over half of his energy into the energy ball. Gemini: "Ha! This attack is one that I have only tried once. I learned it while in the hyperbolic time chamber. You won't be able to survive this... no matter how hard you try!" Gemini launched the energy ball at Linx (Linx was in the air at the time) and then made it speed up by pushing it with his energy. Linx met the energy ball half way and tried to push it back at Gemini. Linx: "No... it's too much. How can this be happening... I AM THE RULER OF THE UNIVERSE!!!" Gemini said, "NOW DIE!!!" Gemini pushed it even farther by pushing it with more of his energy. Slowly the energy ball consumed Linx's body. Linx: "I'll be back... YOU'LL PAY FOR THIS!!!" The energy ball dragged Linx's body into space and then exploded. Linx's body was completely destroyed, not one particle of his body remained. As Gemini stood on the ground, he looked up into the sky exhausted, and tried to make sure Linx was dead. Once Gemini was sure Linx was gone, he went back to regular form and passed out onto the ground. With Linx gone, peace was once again restored to planet Earth.
