CHAPTER 1
MISHAPS OF 6 DAYS REVEALED

"Jewel, Jewel, Jewel, Jew-," Frodo began. "No, no, Sam," She groaned.
"Jewel, I need you," said Frodo his eyes filling with tears, "Jewel, don't leave me." It seemed to him that she stopped breathing. "No, Jewel, no I need you now more than ever." He put his hand in the middle of her chest. " No, Jewel," he said then turn away slowly, crying softly.
He heard a gasp and turned to see nothing had changed about Jewel's body. "Has she died?" asked running over. "I think," he replied tears blinding him. "Come with me. I know we cared but..."
"Don't- don't leave me. You wouldn't leave a person you- you- care about," Jewel coughed.
"Jewel, you're alive. Don't move," Sheik ran to her, "Don't move you head." "I feel," she coughed again,
"Like all of my bones have been broken for weeks." "Well not all of your bones but they have been broken for about four days. You were unconscious of that period of time," Shiek said. "What- what bones?" she
asked. "Well, your neck left shoulder, left elbow, both wrists, left hip, left knee, and left ankle." "What happened? I can't remember." Shiek looked up to see night was setting in. "A pack of ram-wolves," he said dully. "Umm...Oh, I remember now I- I saved Sam didn't I? Where is he?" she said quietly. Frodo explained how she did saved Sam and he had went to Rivendale to get help. He was left in Rivendale safe and sound.
"I'm getting very cold," she said when the night deepened. She shook with pain and cold. "Alright I'd start a fire about now anyway" Shiek sparked a fire and put a rather small pot of water half way in the fire. "Have we stayed in this one spot for four days?" she asked. "Yes, Shiek thought if we were to move you while you were hurt we would risk a chance of you dying," Frodo explained. "Once that water warms I'm going to clean those wounds on your shoulders and chest. Remember at Weathertop?" Shiek asked. "Oh, yes, yes, I remember." She said. A few minutes later Shiek began cleaning her wounds; she shuddered as he did. They set her up right against a rock. "Frodo, you look tired and I know you are go ahead and get some sleep, okay?" He did as she requested. Shiek began to nod off, too. "Shiek, go ahead and get some sleep. I'll be fine." Jewel watched the fire in silence of awhile.
Then she heard rustling in the brush. She raised her good arm up and an energyball appeared. "Show yourself or die," she said weakly. "Jewel, is that you. It's Link and Saria," said a male voice. "Oh, Link, Saria, come here," she said then lowered her arm. "Jewel, What happened?" Saria said. "Keep your voices down please, I don't want to wake them. Well, at Weathertop I saved Frodo from a fatal injury. Then I saved Sam from a pack of ram-wolves causing me to get eight broken bones," she said with a smirk. They sat on either side of Jewel and waited for dawn.
Shiek woke at pre-dawn to go get some strong medicines to help Jewel recover. As they waited they ate some bread and sausage. Awhile later Sheik returned or so they thought it was him. Jewel, because of the knife wounds, was misty minded but she would know if it were him or not. "Hey, guys I'm back," he said then he went to Jewel to clean the wounds. Before he started Jewel's head started to clear up a bit and she noticed that Shiek's eyes weren't the kind, gentle eye she knew. "You- your not Shiek," she said wearily.
"Of course I am I think your just a bit weary." Jewel grew wearier as he cleaned the wounds. Every time he applied it the pain grew worse. "No, your-your not Shiek," she said again. Then, though it was blurry, she saw Shiek in the brush. "Sh- Shiek," she mumbled her hand reached out to him. Her gaze faded to dreams followed by tearing pain.
Jewel woke some time later to see a few worried faces. "What-," she started. "Don't- don't say anything, okay. Now I'm going to brace all of you broken bones and take you to our time." She understood and closed her eyes. She found that she had fallen asleep. When she woke again ten minutes later she saw Frodo bracing her around the shoulders. Both of them riding on Shiekn the tiger and riding beside them was Link on Shar the panther. "Frodo-," she said. She felt him lightly tighten his grip and whispered in her ear, "It's going to be okay. Relax." She did she closed her eyes. "Run- run into the portal," she said. They passed through the portal and ran straight for a small white building. "Come on we're ready for her," said a woman. They halted in front of her. "Careful with her. She has eight broken bones!" Shiekn said. " Please tell me she's going to be okay?" asked Frodo. "Come with me also, little Hobbit," she said walking into the small, white house carrying Jewel. Frodo followed and asked her name. "My name is Jessie. What might your name be and the girl's please," Jessie asked him, then laid Jewel on a bed. "You can't remember your own sister's face?" whispered Jewel. "Mine is Frodo Baggins and hers is Jewel Zheeda," Frodo said. "JEWEL!" Jessie shrieked, "Are you sure." She looked at Jewel's face. "Yes, Jewel Jin Zheeda. Why do you ask," he said confused. "Big sister! Lord, what have you done to yourself?" she asked. Jewel began to breathe harder, "I saved two of my best friends. Jessie, I need to know were you on Jieon when mother and father died?" "Yes," she said. "How did they die?" Jewel asked. Frodo look at them and tears stung his eyes. "They... they died of B.K.V.," she said, "Oh, Jewel." Her eyes welled up with tears. "Don't- don't cry. Go get Shiek, he- he knows," she said. "Frodo, go... go get Shiek, hurry," Jessie said. "I have it... B.K.V. That's why I need Shiek," said Jewel. "Don't leave me, Jewel, don't die. Please." Jessie's eyes filled with tears again. "What did I say... Don't cry," Jewel said then her glare at Jessie withered to blackness.
She woke hours later with sun shining on her face. She saw that Shiek had nodded off to sleep with his head in his hands. He must have been watching me, she thought. "My, my, your hair is beautiful in sunlight," she whispered softly. Next, she ran her hand through his hair and put her hand on his shoulder, then smiled. His eyes slowly opened and saw Jewel's smiling face. He rubbed the hand that was on his shoulder then he sighed and said, "Jewel, your alright."
