#57
(Aired 09/03/97)
Tsuyosa Attou Teki!! Jaaku Ryuu o shihai suru ryuu
The Overwhelmingly Strong Enemy!! The Ruling Evil Dragon
The city is covered in ice, except where Suu stands in a cloud of steam.
Gokuu claims to be amused by the display. San states that it is not going
to be defeated, and will give Gokuu to the count of 5 to attack it as
he desires. Gokuu roughs up San, and finishes by building up Kamehame-ha.
But with the count of 5, San stands up holding Pan by the leg. The dragon
throws Pan at Gokuu, not needing a hostage anymore because it will win
now. San bats Gokuu into another building. San then commences to stomp
on Gokuu's back as he protects Pan. Eventually, Gokuu grabs San's ankle
and subdues the dragon. He is pissed that San had almost caused him to
blast Pan with Kamehame-ha. He throws San into a building, softly sets
Pan on the ground, and then prepares Kamehame-ha again to finish off the
cowardly dragon. But, San flies up behind its brother and disappears.
San reappears and encases Gokuu in solid ice. Suu complains about this,
and San tell its little brother to get out of the way so that it can use
its ice cannon. San's arm turns into a gun barrel, with the Dragon Ball
as the energy source. San fires away, as Gokuu breaks free of the ice
and shoots off the Kamehame-ha. The ice beam is destroyed, and Gokuu tells
the frightened dragon that using the same attack on him twice will never
work; he'd created a barrier this time to protect him from the ice. Gokuu
says that San has lost, and the dragon begs for its life, not wanting
to die just yet. Suu is disgusted at its older brother's behavior.
Sam begs for Suu to save it, and Suu asks Gokuu to relent. Gokuu agrees,
for Suu's sake, as long as San hands over its Dragon Ball, goes away to
somewhere distant, and never comes back. Instead, San touches the icy
ground with its hand, and creates super-sharp fingernails to slice Gokuu
in the eyes (behind him, another building is cut in two and collapses.)
San calls Gokuu an idiot for thinking that it would hand over the Dragon
Ball so easily. Suu complains, and San says that all is fair as long as
it wins.
San attacks with the ice blades, thinking that Gokuu's power has been
lessened. Gokuu senses the dragon's energy and punches it in the stomach.
Gokuu's face gets cut up, but his fist has gone through San's body. He
follows it up with Ryuu-ken (an attack first used in the #13 DBZ movie)
and a fiery dragon bursts through San's body and races across the city.
San melts, as does the ice on all of the buildings. The #3 Ball returns
to normal.

[Commercial Break]

Suu picks up
the #3 Ball, and says "big brother". Gokuu tries to wash his
eyes off, but fails to make them better. Suu drops a flask in Gokuu's
hand, saying that it is eye medicine. The red-hot dragon commands its
enemy to use the medicine quickly so that they can get started in their
contest again. Gokuu comments on the dragon's sense of fairness, and it
jokes that this is a sign of weakness. They laugh until a white hand fires
off a blast from somewhere in the city. The flask shatters, and Suu falls
face down on the street. A bone white dragon (looking like Suu and San,
only heavier, with spikes on its face, and catfish-like whiskers) steps
forward. The newcomer says that it won't lose. Suu recognizes Ii-Shinlon
(#1 evil dragon) as Ii fires a shot at Gokuu. Suu takes the blast in the
back as it protects Gokuu. Suu dies, and the #4 Ball returns to normal.
Gokuu gets pissed and powers up. His eyes are only partially working.
He declares that he will not allow the newcomer to get away so easily
for killing one of its own kind. But, Ii blames Gokuu for its own existence
(brought on by the wish to have Earth restored after the battle with True
Buu.) Gokuu says that he wasn't the one that made that wish, but it doesn't
matter -- he vows to defeat Ii right now. Ii doesn't think that it can
be defeated, and powers up a little bit to kill Gokuu. Part of the city
gets leveled, and Ii apologizes for underestimating its own strength.
Ii kicks Gokuu through more buildings, then bashes him up hard.
Gokuu flies into a ferris wheel in a distant amusement park, and the wheel
goes rolling down a street until coming to rest against a roller coaster.
Gokuu's body lands limply on the steel girders. Ii asks what's wrong,
and Gokuu comments on Ii's great power. The dragon wants to end things,
and shoots a beam from its finger tip. Gokuu escapes and tries to run
away on the coaster rails. Ii keeps shooting, and Gokuu seems to be in
great trouble. He uses a coaster car to get close to Ii and bodyslams
the dragon. Gokuu asks if this really was the end.
Pan stumbles through the rubble, and a wind blows her backpack into her
face. She holds the pack, thinks about the missing Dragon Balls, starts
to cry, then wobbles off to find her grandfather. Ii-shinlon returns to
the battle field, and walks through a kiddie playground (the building
is shaped like a panda's head) looking for Gokuu. The hero waits for his
chance, then fires off 10x's Kamehame-ha. The attack rocks the panda-shaped
building, but Ii stands in place, unharmed. Ii states that Gokuu's strongest
attack is not good enough to win against it, then shoots off its own blasts
that chase Gokuu across the sky. Gokuu gets blown into a sky tower, and
finally hangs with a steel beam impaling his leg. Ii-shinlon grins evilly.
Pan stumbles nearby, sees her grandfather, and tearfully pleads for her
family and friends to come save Gokuu.

Episode #58
(Aired 09/10/97)
Hangeki Kaishi! Chou-saiyajin 4 o koero
Counterattack Returned! SSJ4 is Surpassed
The camera pans over Gokuu's body, as the SSJ4 wears off and he returns
to boy form. Ii gloats, decides that Gokuu is not worth bothering with
any more, and picks up the boy. Ii drops him, and Gokuu falls down towards
the pirate statue (the statue has a sword held overhead, and Gokuu is
going to be impaled on it) far below. But, at the last moment, the statue
blows up and Goten catches his father. Uubu apologizes for waiting so
long to blow the statue up. Then, Trunks, Gohan and the others show up
as well. Pan runs to her father, but Satan yells at her to not interfere
with them (as a joke). Chi chi, Goten, and Trunks explain that they have
all arrived because if Gokuu loses, the world will end. So, it's better
for them to be with the hero at this time. But, they can also tell that
none of them can defeat Ii-shinlon, so they are volunteering their power
to bring Gokuu back up to full strength. (The only people missing are
the Vejiita-Bulma clan, and #18.)
Ii taunts them, asking if Gokuu is really that good. Gohan says "yes,
Gokuu is the world's strongest, no, the universe's #1 strongest fighter."
The Saiya-jin men all power up around Gokuu, while Uubu puts himself between
them and Ii. Gohan asks his father to save them, and the Earth. Gokuu
replies that he is not Shenlon and can not grant wishes. He adds that
he is going to need all of their power. But, Ii hates the idea of waiting
around, and it zips in to rough Gohan up a little. The others rush in
to save Gohan, and Ii escapes. It claims that they still don't understand
that they can't win. The dragon fires a blast that puts a big crater in
the ground, and Ii thinks that it has killed them all; Ii says that Gokuu
is next. But, Gokuu had teleported his sons and Trunks to safety, where
they continue to give him their power. Gokuu asks to be allowed to be
fully restored. He is at full power now, but he wants to drain the others
completely, since 10x's Kamehame-ha had no effect on Ii. Gohan complains
that Gokuu may burn out, but he gives in eventually. Ii thinks that all
of this is still a waste of time and moves in for the attack. Uubu prepares
for a fight.

[Commercial Break]

Gokuu looks
to be overloading, and his sons want to stop this now. Gokuu asks for
more power. Ii says that their time is up, but Uubu claims to have first
dibs on the dragon. Uubu fires an energy blast that Ii easily bats away.
Ii gives Uubu a single punch, then tosses the magic one away. But Uubu
doesn't give up that easily -- he lands on Ii's back and tries to choke
it. This fails, and Ii blasts Uubu in the face -- Uubu falls to the ground
far below. Ii returns to the task at hand, asking if Gokuu is done yet.
Suddenly, there is a roar, and a big golden were-monkey snarls at the
evil dragon. (This is Gokuu's ki manifesting itself.) The boy goes SSJ4,
and blows Gohan, Goten, and Trunks out of the sky. Those three are impressed
at the energy level of an overloaded SSJ4 stage.
Ii-shinlon asks how this is any different from before, and Gokuu answers
"fight me and find out." Ii rushes in to attack; its punch is
easily blocked, and Gokuu asks "what's wrong?" He easily evades
Ii's blows because he can sense the dragon's energy patterns even without
the use of his eyes. Ii attacks more.
Then, Gokuu destroys part of the city with an energy ball in an attempt
to avenge Suu's death. He still senses the minus energy from Ii. However,
Ii stops running when it gets to a clock tower. It rips off the clock
face, saying that the disk doesn't have any energy for Gokuu to sense.
The dragon throws the disk, missing its target. The man stands in place,
laughing, while Ii watches the disk arc back and bear down on the hero
from behind. At the last moment, Ii yells for Gokuu to be sliced, and
Gokuu spins to stop the disk with his bare hands. Ii is surprised by this.
But, Gokuu states that his hearing works just fine. He says that this
one is for Suu-shinlon, throws the disk and prepares Kamehame-ha. Ii evades
the disk, then looks on in shock as the Kamehame-ha hits it full on.
Ii appears to be dead, and everyone else rejoices. Gokuu smiles. The others
congratulate him when he returns to their midst, and he thanks them for
their help. Trunks asks where the Dragon Balls are, and Gokuu answers
that they are scattered around. Pan finds one, but the ball bounces away,
and into Ii-shinlon's waiting hand. The dragon is rather scratched up,
and is finished fooling around with them. It summons all of the Dragon
Balls, and swallows them. It tells the heroes to look at its new, more
perfect form, and powers up.
Ii-shinlon is now bulkier, with longer horns, and all 7 Dragon Balls embedded
in its chest. The Balls have been refilled with minus energy and have
turned black again. The narrator asks whether Ii has surpassed Gokuu,
and if Gokuu can't power up any further.

Episode #60
(Aired 10/22/97)
Fyuu-jon!! Kyuukyoku no Suupaa Gojiita
Fu--sion!! The Ultimate Super Gojiita
SSJ4 Gokuu and SSJ4 Vejiita try to stare down Super Ii-shinlon, while
the others (Bulma's and Chi Chi's families) eagerly anticipate the two
fighters' using Fusion. Pan tries to get Trunks to explain what "Fusion"
is. Gokuu thinks about this, having forgotten about it as a possible attack
method. Ii flies in to continue fighting, but is intercepted by Trunks,
who really wants to see the two elders Fuse. Ii grabs Trunks to break
his neck, and Bulma shoots her Brute Ray at Ii, complaining about anyone
that would try to hurt her boy. Ii destroys the Brute Ray car, and Gohan
has to rescue Bulma from the explosion. She yells at the dragon for having
messed up her machine. Ii tries to reach Gokuu and Vejiita again. Trunks
flies in pursuit, and Gohan tells Goten to help slow down Ii to give the
other two time to Fuse. Pan again demands that someone tell her what Fusion
is.
Ii easily bats the "annoying flies" out of the air as Gokuu
looks on. Vejiita demands to use Fusion right away, and Gokuu laughs.
The Saiya-jin Prince asks what's so funny, and Gokuu answers that he's
just happy that Vejiita has volunteered to Fuse on his own; Vejiita thinks
that this is stupid. Vejiita gets into the pose; Gokuu praises him for
this, and follows suit. Trunks tries to keep Ii busy, but the "interferring
brat" gets knocked away. Gokuu and Vejiita complete the Fusion dance
(which looks really dumb) and the magic begins. A big yellow ball forms
around them, and Ii flies into it, only to be blown back out.
The light dies down, and a new figure steps forward. He has loose white
pants, black boots, lots of muscles, red fur, and funky red hair. Ii demands
to know who this guy is. Super Gojiita answers (in a combination of both
voice actors) "Neither Gokuu nor Vejiita, I am the one that will
defeat you", then scowls at the dragon. This tiny twitch of muscle
is enough to smash Ii away. Everyone else is impressed, and Pan realizes
that the two men have combined. Goten corrects her, saying that they've
merged. Doesn't really matter what they call it -- the result is still
impressive. Uubu stumbles forward, looking really bashed up, agreeing
that Fusion is great. Uubu desperately wants to Fuse with Trunks, Goten,
or Gohan to continue fighting. But, the others want to wait until Uubu
is healed first.
Ii flies in again, gets near Gojiita, then flies backwards with a bloody
nose. Gojiita offers to slow down his triple punch so that Ii can see
it this time. Ii attacks again, and Gojiita punches the dragon in the
face three times REALLY fast, and kicks Ii in the head. Bulma and Chi
Chi are impressed, and Pan cheers on her grandfather. Ii can't believe
that this is happening to it, and attacks again. Ii misses, and smashes
into the ground. Gojiita insults the bumbling fool, which makes Ii angry.
The dragon says that a small power up like this is not enough to defeat
it, and starts blasting away with hundreds of its energy bullets, while
yelling "Die, die, die!" But this time, Gojiita just stands
in place, looking serious.

[Commercial Break]

Gojiita stands
in place, and a cloud of debris forms around him. The cloud fades, and
it looks like the hero has been seriously hurt. Instead, he was just enjoying
having his chest scratched. He asks Ii to do that again to get the itch
in his back. Ii tells Gojiita to stop bluffing, and rushes in, only to
get elbowed in the face, and then smashed into a building.
Gojiita says that it's time to use his new super abilities, and splits
up. There are now 5 Gojiitas. They say that they are going to fire off
five simultaneous Kamehame-ha's. Ii braces for the attack, but Gojiita
is just joking around, and pops off some party favor firecrackers instead.
The Gojiitas wag their tongues at Ii, and disappear in a cloud of smoke.
The real Gojiita laughs so hard that he hurts his stomach. Ii goes into
a rage at being toyed with. Gojiita wants the dragon to get more serious,
saying that he can easily beat the dragon with one finger. Ii demands
that the black Dragon Balls give it their powers. The Balls emit rays
of red light that form into a big red energy ball, that then shrinks into
what Ii describes as a "minus energy Power Ball". The blackish-red
Power Ball is about 5 feet in diameter. Ii says that it is sending Gojiita
to hell, and pushes the Power Ball at him. The Ball destroys buildings
nearby, and the spectators fly away to safety. Uubu stays his ground,
realizing that the Power Ball is strong enough to wipe out the planet.
Gojiita waits, stands up, powers up, and intercepts the Power Ball. He
kicks it into space, where it explodes. The blast is powerful enough to
attact Kaiou-bit's attention, way out at Kaiou-shin Planet. Kaiou-bit
is preparing rice for supper, notices the blast via the crystal ball,
and yells for "Gou-sen-sama." Dai Kaiou-shin arrives, asking
if supper is ready. Kaiou-bit has to stop the old coot from opening the
rice cooker, then tries to get the coot's attention on the battle occurring
on Earth.
Gojiita explains that when he'd come in contact with the Power Ball, he'd
countered it with his own plus energy. Rather than being a Matter/Anti-Matter
reaction, the result was 0 where the two energies cancelled each other
out.
Next comes Gojiita's Big Bang Kamehame-ha, which looks like a blueish-white
sphere with a vertical white plane cutting through it. The BBKHH explodes,
and six of the Dragon Balls fall to Earth, returned back to their normal
healthy glow. Pan catches the #4 Ball, and Trunks thinks that the battle
is over. But, Ii pulls itself back together, having retained the #1 Ball.
Looking badly battered, Ii happily claims that it is still capable of
fighting. Gojiita is annoyed, then says that he'll only need one more
blast to finish Ii completely.
But, as the hero prepares Black Bomb Kamehame-ha, the Fusion wears off
and Gokuu and Vejiita split up. Gokuu wonders what's wrong, since they
should have had 10 more minutes. Vejiita yells at him, saying that Fusion
is supposed to last longer than 30 minutes. Gokuu laughs realizing that
being in SSJ4 form had caused the lifespan of Fusion to be shortened.
Vejiita yells at him again. Ii says that it's too bad that they'd lost
their chance, but Gokuu claims that they can still defeat the weakened
dragon in 10 minutes.
Ii asks if he can be so sure of that, and starts summoning the Dragon
Balls to swallow them up again. Gokuu grabs the #4 Ball as it escapes
from Pan's grasp. Gokuu refuses to let Ii get the one with old Son Gohan's
spirit in it.

Episode #61
(Aired 10/29/97)
Zettai Katsu zo! Suushichuu o kuuta Gokuu
I WILL Win!! Gokuu Swallows the #4 Dragon Ball (Suushichuu)
Ii makes fun of the two heroes for having failed to defeat it, calling
them idiots. Vejiita gets into a name-calling match with Gokuu, claiming
that the screw-up is all Gokuu's fault. Vejiita really prefers not having
to do the Fusion dance again, because it looks so silly. Ii interrupts
them, saying that they've had their chance, now it's going to finish them
off. Gokuu yells out to Vejiita to Fuse with him, but Ii beats them up
instead.
Ii knocks the #4 Dragon Ball free, and plans to eat it in order to power
up and then kill them all with one Power Ball. Gokuu grabs the #4 Ball
back, commenting on the close call. He decides that if Ii can swallow
the Dragon Balls, then so can he. Everyone is stunned at this, and Gokuu
goes into spasms. Eventually, he forces the Dragon Ball down his throat,
but it was definitely a painful process.
The dragon isn't impressed by this, and asks if they really think that
preventing it from being able to use Power Ball is going to keep them
alive for that much longer. The dragon easily kicks the two fighters into
a building. With the rubble shielding them, Gokuu wants to do Fusion,
but Vejiita is busy holding the building up on his back. Ii realizes its
mistake, and hurriedly blows the rubble to dust. Gokuu berates the dragon
for not giving them a fair chance, and Ii replies that as long as they
can't Fuse, they're just helpless garbage. Ii beats them up more. Gokuu
and Vejiita realize that they don't have a chance against Ii while they
are in SSJ4, so they try to Fuse while Ii watches on (Vejiita makes Gokuu
promise that this will be the last time). They are about to complete the
dance, and because they are so close together, it is easy for Ii to zip
in and smash them both up at the same time.
Gokuu says that Ii is really strong. When he first turned into Super Gojiita,
he'd felt really strong and happy, and had let himself play around instead
of killing Ii right away. Ii is about to send Gokuu to hell, when Vejiita
hits it in the back of the head with a boulder. Vejiita and Gokuu then
spend more time trying to distract Ii long enough to be able to Fuse;
and keep failing.
Goten wants to try to save his father, and Gohan talks him out of it,
saying that the two elders will have to save themselves on their own (i.e.
- the rest of them don't stand a chance against Ii).

[Commercial Break]

On Kaiou-shin
Planet, Kaiou-bit has to destroy Dai Kaiou-shin's radio to get the old
coot's attention on the terrible battle taking place on Earth. But the
coot pulls a gag about stretching out first. He says that there's nothing
they can do to help Gokuu, except for thinking about how Gokuu can perfect
his timing in order to complete the Fusion dance. Meanwhile, Ii keeps
winning, and states that if one of the heroes dies, then the other can't
complete the Fusion. The dragon first targets Vejiita, then gets Gokuu
in a headlock. Gokuu gets free, but the fighting continues. Gokuu and
Vejiita see that Ii is unscathed, so they have no choice but to Fuse.
Ii announces that when it is done with them, it will destroy Earth, and
then wipe out the galaxy. Gokuu reminds Vejiita that they are both Saiya-jin
warriors, and they attack again, only to get beaten up more.
Gokuu is about to give up, when his reflections in some broken glass give
him an idea. Ii praises Gokuu for having the power to stand up again,
and the hero tells Vejiita to use Sanzou-ken. The Saiya Prince catches
on, and tells Ii to watch them complete Fusion. They move forward, and
Ii blasts them again. But this time, there's no bodies lying around.
Ii keeps attacking after images, not realizing that the two heroes are
moving so fast as to appear to be in more than one place at a time. The
real Vejiita and Gokuu retreat to a distant roof, and they finally get
the Fusion pose finished. But, when the blinding light fades away, Gokuu
and Vejiita are still standing in place, touching fingers. Ii and Vejiita
both ask what went wrong, and Gokuu blames Vejiita for screwing up by
not holding his fingers correctly at the end. Vejiita objects to this,
claiming to have done the stupid dance perfectly. Pan demands to know
what the problem is, and Trunks thinks that maybe Ii had drained too much
of Gokuu's energy during the fight, and that maybe Gokuu's level doesn't
match Vejiita's anymore.
Ii lets them try again, even though this means that if they succeed, Gojiita
can destroy Ii. They try the dance, and fail a second time. On top of
which, when the light fades away, Gokuu has fallen out of SSJ4 mode and
is a young boy again. He laughs embarrassedly at this, while Ii states
that it's just a matter of time before the same thing happens to SSJ4
Vejiita.
Ii prepares to attack Vejiita, as the Prince backs up. The narrator comments
on these events, and points out that the #4 Dragon Ball is emerging from
the middle of Gokuu's forehead. Gokuu states that it's not going to be
that easy to defeat them.

Episode #62
(Aired 11/05/97)
Gokuu o Sukue!! Saigo no Mikata Toujou
To the Rescue!! Gokuu's Final Assistant Appears
Ii-shinlon pauses, and Satan asks the others if they've just seen the
#4 Dragon Ball protrude from Gokuu's forehead. The boy asks why Ii isn't
attacking him, Chi Chi thinks that things can't get much worse, and Vejiita
is afraid that Gokuu has also turned into an evil dragon. Pan has to point
out to him that there's a big lump on his forehead. Gokuu panics, running
around and demanding to know why this is happening to him. Then again,
it's no big deal, and the boy wants to keep fighting. Ii is amused that
Gokuu is full of surprises right up to the end. But, this is the end now,
and the dragon throws an energy ball at the boy.
The Dragon Ball leaves Gokuu's body, Suu-shinlon appears and tells Ii
to wait, and the #4 dragon easily bats the energy ball away. Gokuu is
pleased to see the fire dragon again, but Suu wants to kill Gokuu itself.
Ii says that it won't interfere in this. Gokuu wants to know why Suu is
joining up with the dragon that had shot it in the back just recently.
Ii explains that when the #4 Ball had been in its control, Suu had been
turned into Ii's minion. Suu agrees that this is what has happened, and
that it will defeat Gokuu itself. Vejiita claims that Suu is just another
villian with an un-understandable motive, and attacks. Suu smashes the
Prince into the ground, and Gokuu yells out for Vejiita to be careful
because Suu is even faster than Gokuu is. Vejiita yells back that he's
already figured that out. Suu out-maneuvers Vejiita, says "die",
and blasts the Prince pointblank. The resulting fire ball melts buildings,
and knocks Trunks and friends down into the street.
When the smoke clears, the spectators crawl up, Gokuu's ears hurt, and
Vejiita is lying motionless. Trunks flies to his father, but Ii blocks
his path. Ii tells Suu to kill Gokuu, then sits down to watch what it
expects to be a fast, boring fight. However, Ii gets impatient because
things are taking too long. Trunks reaches his father, and is surprised
to hear that Vejiita thinks that Suu is pulling its punches, and not fighting
full-out. Ii orders Suu to wipe out Gokuu right now, and while Suu plans
on doing that, Ii is going to go first. Suu and Gokuu both fire at Ii,
and Suu moves in to grab Ii from behind.
Ii asks how Suu could have shaken off its control, and Suu, Pan and Trunks
combine to explain that the reason Gokuu had swallowed the #4 Dragon Ball
was in order to use his Plus Energy to cleanse the Ball of Ii's Minus
Energy. Then, Suu uses what sounds like "Burning Sphere" to
create a huge fireball that engulfs Suu and Ii, before rising into the
sky.

[Commercial Break]

Inside the
fireball, Suu tells Ii that there's no way to escape, and it lets Ii go.
Ii gets encased in red crystal. Suu states that it can not forgive Ii
for shooting it in the back, which is why Ii is going to die now. Ii prepares
an energy ball, and Suu says that if there is an explosion inside the
burning sphere, it'll trigger a bigger blast that will kill Ii instantly.
Ii breaks free of the red crystal, but can't bring itself to shoot. Suu
continues, saying that Ii prefers to shoot its victims in the back, and
turns around. Ii still can't attack, so Suu plans to finish off the coward
with its own energy attack. Ii asks if this will trigger the fireball
and kill Suu as well. The #4 dragon calls Ii an idiot, adding that Suu
isn't going to be hurt by its own technique. Gokuu yells for Suu to stop,
and not risk itself this way.
The fireball explodes, creating a second sun on Earth's horizon, and shakes
up the city. Later, a small ball of fire sets down; Vejiita thinks that
it's Ii-shinlon, still alive, while Gokuu runs up to greet Suu-shinlon.
Suu apologizes and starts to break up. Ii steps out of Suu's skin, and
because everything is over now, explains that it had realized that Suu's
body would be safe from the fireball. So, Ii had sent the evil Dragon
Balls forward to enter Suu's body, and then allowed Ii's old body to destruct.
Ii now has all 7 Dragon Balls again, and has returned to Super Ii-shinlon
mode.
Gokuu won't allow Ii to get away with taking over Suu's body like that,
and Ii asks the boy what he is going to do about it. Gokuu flies in to
attack, and is easily punched away. Gokuu uses Kamehame-ha. Ii asks if
he still thinks that technique will have an effect on it, and uses millions
of energy bullets in return. Vejiita flies to rescue Gokuu, while Ii is
pleased that its ultimate form is so perfect. Ii likens itself to a god
of death that will soon sweep the galaxy.
Dai Kaiou-shin says that it's all over now. Kaiou-bit asks what will happen
if the heroes lose, and the coot yells that Kaiou-bit is a Kaiou-shin,
and should already know the answer. The minus energy will cover the Earth,
killing everything. Earth will explode, sending the minus energy out to
space, where all of the other planets will suffer the same fate. The Kaiou
planet will be destroyed as well, so Kaiou-bit says that they'd better
escape now while they can. He is joking, but the old coot claims that
this is not a time for levity.
Ii is about to attack again, and Vejiita powers up; only to fall out of
SSJ4 mode. He yells for Bulma to use the Brute Ray on him again, and his
wife apologizes that her machine has been destroyed. Gokuu thinks that
Vejiita should now be able to go to SSJ4 whenever he wants to, having
been at that level once already. Vejiita shouts that Gokuu is a special
case, and that he himself can't go SSJ4 on his own. Ii asks them to decide
which one of them should die first. Gokuu complains of not having enough
energy, and Vejiita tells him to shut up. The narrator comments on these
events, and asks Gokuu what the boy is going to do now that Vejiita can't
go SSJ4.

Episode #63
(Aired 11/12/97)
Kiseki no Gyakuten Shouri!! Uchuu o Sukutta Gokuu
The Miracle Turnaround Victory!! Gokuu Pleads with the Galaxy for Help
Ii wants them to hurry up and decide who will die first. Vejiita wants
to try to Fuse and then go SSJ4, but Gokuu tells him that because of their
size differences, they can't do the pose correctly. Ii complains of the
inconvenience of having to kill them both together, and happily bashes
them around. Gokuu asks Vejiita if he had been able to track that last
attack, and the Prince hadn't. Ii creates a Power Ball just big enough
to destroy Earth, saying that because of their power down, Gokuu and Vejiita
no longer have a chance of defeating it. Gokuu notices that Ii is serious
now, and Satan realizes that it is all over for them.
Ii launches the Power Ball, Vejiita prepares to counterattack, and Gokuu
yells about the danger and pushes Vejiita out of the way. The boy uses
his plus energy to protect his hands from the Power Ball, to keep it from
destroying Earth. There is a test of wills, as Ii makes the Power Ball
bigger and pushes harder against Gokuu. The boy sinks into the ground
under the weight. Gokuu fights valiantly as the spectators call out his
name. The boy uses his friends and family as a reason to keep the Earth
from being destroyed. But, Ii makes the Power Ball bigger, and it explodes.
The resulting crater is HUGE, and Gokuu is no where to be seen.
Ii comments that the boy had sacrificed himself by making the Power Ball
blow up in such a way as to protect the planet. Pan cries out "grandpa",
and pounds the ground with her fists. Ii laughs that Gokuu had sacrificed
himself needlessly, and sends its minus energy out across the skies. Soon,
evil-looking storms break out, tidal waves pound the coasts, and lightning
destroys buildings and sets other cities ablaze.
Vejiita gets angry, saying that Planet Vejiita had been destroyed by Freeza,
and now the same is going to happen to Earth? He tells Trunks to take
the others to a safe place, while he goes to try to take out Ii-shinlon.
He flies to the evil dragon. The dragon is surprised that Vejiita is still
alive, and he replies that such a wimpy attack can't hurt him. He prepares
to fight again.

[Commercial Break]

Trunks silently
tells his mother "goodbye" and flies after his father. Pan notices
this, and Gohan gives Satan to her. Videl gets Bulma, and Uubu gets Chi
Chi. Chi Chi tells Goten to fight bravely, reminding him that he is the
child of Gokuu. Gohan and Goten fly after Trunks. The others continue
flying away. The destruction of the planet continues, and the old dog
Mayor (from DBZ) is on TV to calm people down. The TV goes blank, and
then another announcer comes on to yell that the Mayor's tower has just
exploded. There is panic everywhere. Then, this city also explodes. Lying
at the bottom of his crater, Gokuu silently pleads for everyone to lend
him their energy in order to make a Genki Dama.
Vejiita is losing, then is evilly happy when Trunks, Goten, and Gohan
show up to help out. They all go SSJ and get beaten up more. Vejiita tries
to attack Ii from behind, but the dragon makes its spikes grow longer.
Vejiita gets impaled, and Ii zaps him with "Dragon's Thunder".
Vejiita sees the others lying on the ground, and asks the spirit of Kakarot
to help him in battle. He attacks yet again, and gets kicked to the edge
of Gokuu's crater.
Vejiita starts laughing. Ii says that he will be buried in the same grave
as Gokuu. Vejiita keeps laughing, and claims that Ii has lost. He passes
out. Behind him, Gokuu rises from the crater, with a big Genki Dama above
his head. Ii is shocked that Gokuu is still alive, and the boy gloats
back at it. The surviving Earthlings happily donate their energy, and
the Genki Dama's positive energy causes all of the minus energy to retreat
from the sky. Ii tries to shoot the boy with its energy bullets, but they
explode harmlessly around him.
Gokuu telepaths to Kaiou-sama. The world king congratulates the boy on
making the wise choice of using his Genki attack. But Gokuu cuts him off,
saying that he's taken all of the life energy on Earth, and it's not enough.
He wants Kaiou-sama to use telepathy to allow Gokuu to plead with all
life-forms across the galaxy to help him out. Kaiou-sama is dubious, but
tries anyway (with the aid of the other three Kaiou's).
Gokuu asks people to give their life energy to him, and they do.
Everyone on New Namek raises their hands.
The Para Brothers use a stupid dance to make their aerobics class on planet
Ruudo raise their hands.
Don Kia and partners are in jail, but they raises their hands just like
all of the other Immegans do.
The giant on planet Monmaasu raises his hand.
Zuunama is working in a field as a farmer, and the big catfish raises
his hands along with everyone else on planet Kerubo.
Even the people on the hospital planet raise their hands (the alien boy
that Baby had first possessed is still a patient there, and is still in
a wheelchair). The life energies come streaming in to Earth, and blast
by Pan, Videl, and Uubu. Pan puts her hands in the streams, and can tell
what planets the energies are from. She senses that her grandfather is
still alive, and they fly back to the crater.
Gokuu thanks everyone for their help. Ii throws a Power Ball at him, to
no effect. The Genki Dama is huge, and Pan says that Gokuu looks like
a god right now. He throws the Genki Dama, while Ii tells him to wait
a second here. The Ball destroys the dragon, creates a big gorge across
the land, and flies into space to explode.
The others call out to Gokuu, and run up to him. The boy is lying limply
on the ground and does not react when Pan shakes him. The Dragon Balls
are restored to normal, and suddenly, Shenlon appears without having been
summomed. Bulma comments that something is wrong here, while the narrator
tells us that something is strange about Shenlon. The narrator asks what
it is that is about to happen next.

Episode #64
(Aired 11/19/97)
Saraba Gokuu... Mata Au Hi Made
Goodbye, Gokuu... Till the Day We Meet Again
The narrator starts out by saying that Gokuu was fighting Ii-shinlon,
and defeated the evil dragon by using a huge Genki Dama. This establishes
Gokuu as the Galaxy's #1 fighter. The narrator ends by reminding us that
Shenlon has awakened.
Shenlon hovers in the sky. Bulma comments that something is wrong -- the
sky has not turned dark. Gohan agrees that this isn't the way things normally
go. Shenlon speaks in a low, slow rumble, telling Gokuu to stand up. The
boy is healed, and looks up (Chi Chi is happy), noticing that all of the
Dragon Balls must have been restored. Shenlon asks if he understands why
the Dark Dragons had appeared. Gokuu answers that it's because they used
the Dragon Balls to make so many wishes. Shenlon continues, adding that
this is why they (the Z Fighters) can not be allowed to make any more
wishes from now on.
Gokuu understands, but asks for Shenlon to grant one final wish anyway.
Shenlon asks what it is, and the boy asks for the people killed in the
last round of fighting to be brought back to life. He says that the evil
dragons had killed innocent people, and they don't deserve to remain dead.
He adds that the damage done to the planet can be repaired by the people
of Earth themselves. Shenlon agrees, and grants the wish. People everywhere
are surprised to find that they are alive again (they'd be more surprised
to find themselves at the bottom of one of the crushed buildings at the
same time...) Gill comes flying up (apparently, Shenlon considers the
robot to be a living creature) calling Pan's name. Gill says that Pan
is dangerous, but it loves her anyway.
Gokuu thanks Shenlon. The dragon states that the wish is granted, and
it's time for them to leave now. Shenlon tells the boy to get on its back,
and he asks if it's that time already. The others are surprised by this.
Gokuu tells them that he'll be gone for just a short time, and Vejiita
runs up to demand a chance to fight him again. Then, Vejiita realizes
what's happening, and Gokuu quietly begs for the Prince to keep his secret
from the others. Shenlon flies off into the clouds, with all 7 Dragon
Balls encircling Gokuu. Chi Chi yells for her husband to come back soon.
Bulma thinks about the fact that they can't use the Dragon Balls anymore.
She remembers when she first set out to find the Balls, and how that had
started the chain of events that caused her to meet Gokuu, and that had
brought all of the friends together. Shenlon and Gokuu fly over the planet.
(In the desert below, where Yamcha used to be a bandit, Puaru watches
as Yamcha tries to fix his car. Tenshinhan and Chau-zu are at the base
of a waterfall; Tenshin bursts from under the falls to watch as Shenlon
flies by.) Gokuu asks for a short detour.
At Kame House, Kuririn comments on Kamesennin's drooling over a porno
mag. (Apparently, Kuririn's death at the hands of Super #17 was considered
to be part of "this round of fighting". Kuririn, Kamesennin,
and the sea turtle are alone at the house.) Kuririn and the turtle make
fun of the old pervert, until Gokuu drops by. Kuririn is happy to see
his friend again, but since Gokuu still looks like a young boy, and Kamesennin
never changes, Kuririn gets depressed that he is the only one that has
gotten old with time. Gokuu challenges the grey-haired runt to a fight
for old time's sake. They spar, and Gokuu gets punched in the face. He
laughs, and says that Kuririn hasn't changed a bit. The runt starts to
say that he and #18 still train occasionally, then discovers that Gokuu
has disappeared. Kamesennin realizes what is happening, (that Gokuu is
saying his final goodbyes to his friends) and thanks the Dragon Balls
for this. The ocean waves come in and wash away Gokuu's footprints from
the sand on the beach.
In Hell, Piccolo is saving some of the oni from a villian that is terrorizing
them. The oni cheer him, and Piccolo notices Gokuu sitting on some rocks
nearby. The demon berates the boy for getting stuck in Hell again, but
all Gokuu wants to do is shake hands. They do, and a spark encircles their
grip. Piccolo wonders what this is about, and Gokuu says that he won't
forget their time together. Then, the boy disappears again.

[Commercial Break]

When Shenlon
had left them, Chi Chi had shouted for Gokuu to return soon. She is depressed,
having had planned to cook a big supper for them. Goten and Gohan eagerly
look forward to another Pauzu Mountain Stew special. Bulma states that
it is time for them to return home as well. Uubu hopes that they will
all remain healthy, and flies away. Goten takes Chi Chi home so that she
can start cooking right away. Trunks notices that Pan is standing next
to the crater, looking sad. She asks if the Dragon Balls are really gone
for good. He assures her that as long as they do their best on their own,
if they really need to find the Dragon Balls, the Balls will be there
for them to find. Pan cheers up, and says that she will try her best.
Trunks leaves, and Pan discovers Gokuu's tattered clothing on the ground.
She wonders if Gokuu has gone off with Shenlon for good. Vejiita solemnly
implies that Kakarot has, and then flies away by himself. Pan sniffs Gokuu's
clothing, and says "granpa".
Shenlon soars through the clouds. Gokuu comments that the dragon's back
feels so nice and warm. The boy falls asleep, and all seven Dragon Balls
enter his body. When the #4 Ball enters his forehead, Gokuu disappears.
Shenlon coils up, and flies at the camera. The screen turns white.
It is now 100 years in the future, and the latest Tenka-ichi Budoukai
is about to start. A perky, young, punky announcer works the crowd, telling
them to look at the ragged boy standing in the middle of the stage. The
announcer points at the two big statues near by -- one is of the Budoukai's
greatest fighter: Son Gokuu; the other is of the legendary Mr. Satan.
The announcer yells out that Gokuu, Jr. is the great-great-great grandson
of both heroes. Pakku is stunned at learning of Gokuu, Jr.'s blood line,
and Pan brags that she herself is the granddaughter of both heroes.
Gokuu, Jr. repeats "I will win" to himself, when a young Vejiita
comes out to start the first round. Pan wonders about this, and a young
woman sits down beside her, making fun of Gokuu, Jr.'s chances. The woman's
wrist phone rings -- and it turns out that this is the latest head of
Capsule Corp. (she looks like a 20-year old Bulma, but her name is not
given.) Pan understands why the other boy looks like Vejiita (he is from
Vejiita's bloodline). (Apparently, Chi Chi's family and Bulma's family
stopped talking long ago, and they'd dropped out of touch. Pan didn't
know that Trunks had had any children to continue the heritage.) Pan looks
forward to an interesting confrontation, and she shouts out for Gokuu,
Jr. to fight full out.
The round starts, and the audience is stunned to see both children flying
around, fighting like mad. The boys take a break, and Vejiita, Jr. is
amused that Gokuu, Jr. is the first person ever to make him fight at full
power. Vejiita, Jr. goes SSJ. Gokuu, Jr. says the same thing back, and
goes SSJ as well. Vejiita, Jr. comments that the other boy can make his
hair turn yellow, too, and they fight more. Pan, Pakku, and the other
kids cheer for Gokuu, Jr., then suddenly, Pan notices an adult Gokuu,
Sr. happily watching on from the other side of the stadium. Pan tries
to reach him, but loses her grandfather in the crowd. Gokuu, Sr. walks
away, and the opening theme song starts playing.
The narrator says that with the appearance of baby Gokuu, things have
been fun. There now follows a series of short takes showing highlights
of the entire TV series, from when Bulma first met Gokuu, up to the defeats
of Cell, Buu, and Baby. At the same time as the music plays, the voice
actor credits roll by for ALL of the major characters from DB/DBZ/DBGT.
When the music ends, the narrator continues, saying that the bright, gentle
Gokuu is the one that everyone likes best. Now, as the adult Gokuu takes
the expanding staff and flies off with Kintouen, the narrator concludes
that Gokuu's story has come to an end. (In Japanese: "Oshimai".)
The words "The End/Oshimai" appear on the screen.
The preview for next week's show has Gokuu introducing Arale, and the
start of Dr. Slump. Arale has a very strange voice -- young and extremely
girlish.
Arare Tanjou!! Gakkou e ikou
The Appearance of Arale!! Let's Go To School
The regular DBGT closing credits and theme song follow.
